It is with the trailer of The Lost Wild that ended the showcase organized last night by Annapurna Interactive, just to close the event on a few cold sweats. An island that serves as a hunting ground for dinosaurs, does that remind you of anything?
First-person survival game
Described as a first-person survival and horror game, The Lost Wild has therefore offered a brand new trailer on the occasion of this Annapurna Interactive Showcase rich in new announcements. If it weren’t unveiled here for the very first time, The Lost Wild is still very mysterious while its release date is not scheduled before the year 2024 on PC via Steamand perhaps also on other media even if nothing has been communicated on this yet…
The trailer for The Lost Wild emphasizes the survival aspect of this title in which the player will have to use all the resources at his disposal to escape the claws and surveillance of the dinosaurs that inhabit the game universe. he action takes place in a research center where nature has regained its rights, sheltering all sorts of life forms hostile to the human race. It will therefore be necessary to show discretion and ingenuity to get by in this survival game in first person view which seems to hide a deep mystery.
The game of cat and mouse?
Faced with the dinosaurs of The Lost Wild, man occupies a very bad place in the food chain and will most often have to try to intimidate them or else flee so as not to end up in a snack. Developed by Great Ape Games and published by Annapurna Interactive, the software relies on a cinematographic and immersive approach which obviously recalls the atmosphere of the first Jurassic Park with its dinosaurs that behave like real wild animals.
All the weapons in the game are non-lethal, which proves how much The Lost Wild relies on survival-type gameplay. rather than raw action. The title therefore also contains a fairly pronounced exploration dimension, the complex plagued by vegetation containing valuable resources that will increase our chances of survival.
The Lost Wild is due out on PC via Steam in 2024. Other releases may also be announced later.
