Game News Yakuza: The Saga Makes Fists Talk on PlayStation Plus
Already star of the Game Pass, the Yakuza saga born in 2005 in the premises of Amusement Vision is now making fists talk on the new PlayStation Plus. We tell you everything!
7 Yakuza games are coming to PS+
Definitely, the month of August on the PlayStation side will be under the sign of Yakuza! After revealing the arrival of Yakuza: Like a Dragon on the PlayStation Plus Essential, Sony once again takes the floor to announce another good news: almost the entire series is coming to PlayStation Plus.
The acclaimed Yakuza series, which includes the saga of Kazuma Kiryu and the latest installment Yakuza: Like A Dragon, is coming to PlayStation Plus in 2022. All players intrigued by Sega’s long-running series will be able to experience its clever mix of combat, from quarters to visit, mini-games and fascinating stories starting next month. It is therefore no less than seven games that will land on PlayStation Plus during the year, starting with Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath, Yakuza Kiwami, the remake of the very first opus, and Yakuza Kiwami 2, the remake of the second chapter. These three works that have marked the history of video games will be available in just a few days, in August, for all players who are subscribed to PS+ Extra or PS+ Premium.
Later this year (unfortunately no specific date has been given), PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also be able to get their hands on Yakuza 3 Remastered and its sequels, namely Yakuza 4 Remastered and Yakuza 5 Remastered.
Finally, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, the conclusion to the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu, will also be available later this year. Unlike the three previous games mentioned, the title will be available in the PlayStation Plus Extra as well as in the Premium offer.
Already on Game Pass
With the arrival of Yakuza games in the new PlayStation Plus formula, Sony is once again responding to Game Pass. It must be said that most of the games from the Ryu ga Gotoku Studio license have been available in Microsoft’s video game on demand service for many months now. For example, Yakuza: Like a Dragon landed in the current 2021 program and Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 have already made two passages on the Xbox brand catalog. A flash at the launch of the Xbox Series X | S and more recently, since the three games have been back for a good month now.

About the new PlayStation Plus:
What is PlayStation Plus?

The second also benefits from a catalog of around 400 PS4 titles | PS5. And the third adds on top of retro software (PSP, PS1, PS2, PSP), the reading of a selection of games remotely thanks to streaming and – this is important – demos to test a handful of blockbusters.
Who can benefit from free PlayStation Plus games?
Depending on your subscription, you will not have access to the same games. With the PlayStation Plus Essential, you are entitled to the PS Plus Collection (only on PS5) and to the titles offered each month. With the Extra, you have access to a PS4 catalog | PS5 of around 400 apps. And with Premium, you get nearly 340 retro games, streaming PS3 titles and demos.
