Brock Lesnar reportedly left SmackDown after Vince McMahon’s retirement announcement.
Brock Lesnar is reportedly leaving Friday Night SmackDown tonight following the announcement of Vince McMahon’s retirement from all WWE duties.
This Friday night Brock Lesnar was scheduled to face Roman Reigns for their scheduled match at WWE SummerSlam 2022. But The Beast obviously didn’t take the news of Vince McMahon’s retirement with the same enthusiasm as everyone else. According to the Wrestling Observer, Lesnar left the TD Garden Arena in Boston where SmackDown is scheduled to take place this Friday night.
The site Fightful for its part understands that Brock Lesnar was “very furious” to learn of the departure of Vince McMahon and would have said “If he leaves, I leave”.

A departure which, if Brock Lesnar does not change his mind, could change the poster for the main event of WWE SummerSlam 2022 which is to take place on July 30 in Nashville.
Brock Lesnar has said in various interviews in the past that despite having a strained relationship at times, he views the now former WWE Chairman as a father figure.
