WHAT IS IT ABOUT ?
Franck Sharko (45) is a gruff and lonely cop. Unable to mourn his daughter, he has visions of her: Eugenie interferes everywhere. Especially in his new investigation in which children mysteriously disappear while an old film from the 60s provokes strange and dangerous behavior in those who watch it.
Lucie Henebelle is 35 years old. She too is a cop, a single mother. When she realizes that her past may be related to Sharko’s investigation, she joins his team. The meeting of the two police officers therefore promises to be electric… But this investigation will above all lead them from Morocco to Canada to shed light on troubled scientific experiments.
WHEN FRANCK THILLIEZ’S HEROES COME TO LIFE
Thriller enthusiasts and inveterate readers are familiar with the name of Franck Sharko. An emblematic figure in Franck Thilliez’s novels, this hero is revealed for the first time in a series through Syndrome E, an adaptation of the eponymous bestseller released in 2010.
After the triumph of La Promesse, with Olivier Marchal and Sofia Essaïdi and which brought together no less than 7 million viewers on average, Laure de Butler persists and signs a new thriller which will undoubtedly fascinate the public.
And there is reason since the series, like the novel, shines the spotlight on the mysterious concept of “syndrome E”, theorized by Professor Itzhak Fried. This syndrome would correspond to the change that takes place in ordinary and non-violent individuals who become true executioners, even murderers, within a group.
Appreciated by the press during the screening of its first two episodes in preview at the Series Mania festival in Lille, last March, the series will soon be broadcast on TF1.
But good news for the most impatient of you, it is not useful to wait until then to discover it. From this Friday, July 22, the 6 episodes of Syndrome E are all available on Salto! The opportunity to devour now and in one go this thrilling story carried by an impressive cast.
E SYNDROME: VINCENT ELBAZ, EMMANUELLE BÉART, KOOL SHEN…
Counting on the talent of Vincent Elbaz who slips wonderfully under the costume of Sharko, the mini-series also shines its spotlight on Jennifer Decker, resident of the Comédie-Française and who fascinates in the role of Lucie Henebelle.
And that’s not all, since we also find Kool Shen (Engrenages) and Bérengère Krief (Bref.) as co-cops of the hero, Anne Charrier (Maison close), Michèle Bernier (La Stagiaire), Marius Colucci (Les Petits Murders by Agatha Christie) and Samy Seghir (Neuilly his mother!). Without forgetting Richard Bohringer and Emmanuelle Béart, just that! All to be found now, on Salto.
