Segway has announced the launch of pre-orders for two new electric scooters belonging to the GT range: the Segway GT1E and GT2P. The technical data sheets and prices of these two products clearly place them in the high-end category.
For those who diligently follow the news of electric scooters, you probably did not miss the Segway GT1E and GT2P, presented last March at a press conference. Four months later, their launch is finally effective in the form of pre-orders, says the company.
One for the city, the other for the circuit
The GT1E is intended for the city thanks to its excellent autonomy of 70 kilometers – to be verified during a test and in real conditions. The rest of its features are enough to make more than one and more than one want:

The Segway GT2P pushes the performance much further, so much so that it is prohibited on cycle paths, given its maximum speed of 70 km/h obtained thanks to the Boost mode. This model should be used on racetracks or private properties and roads. On paper, the technical sheet is just as beautiful:

Prices and availability of the Segway GT1E and GT2P
Available for pre-orders, the duo should also be available from Segway-Ninebot partners, in-store and online, starting in the first half of September.
On the French site, the Segway GT1E is available at a price of 2499 euros, against 2999 euros for the Segway GT2P. Deliveries will take place by the end of August or the beginning of September.
Through its IGNITION business creation program, Honda announces the launch of Striemo Inc., which will arm itself with a three-wheeled electric scooter marketed in Japan by the end of 2022. Europe is also concerned.
