Announced during the State of Play last March, TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection had left the most nostalgic players of retrogaming waiting, in particular for a release date.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will have finally waited for the event of Comic-Con San Diego 2022 to return to the news. And it’s through a new trailer (which you can watch above) that our four turtles from hell reveal some excerpts of images from the compilation of classic games that made the heyday of the 8 and 16-bit era. After a minute, the release date is finally revealed, TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection will be released on August 30, 2022 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Fans of retrogaming will therefore have to wait until the end of the summer holidays to get their hands on this compilation with no less than thirteen games in all.

From arcade terminals to the Sega Genesis, via the Game Boy, the Nintendo or even the Super Nintendo, thirteen games are therefore on the program of TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection :

Developed by the teams of Digital Eclipse and published by those of the Konami studio, the set is not satisfied with a simple portage and will be modernized by: HD graphic rendering, the ability to save progress or go back, custom key configuration, the addition of new game modes (Boss Rush and Challenge) not to mention the integration of Japanese voices from origin to delight purists of the genre.

Furthermore, some games support local or online co-op play like TMNT II: The Arcade Game, TMNT III: The Manhattan Project or TMNT IV: Turtles in Time while TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist will only be playable in local multiplayer. Long hours of play in perspective!
