“Les grosses têtes” remains the most listened to radio program of the afternoon over the period April-June 2022. According to data from Médiamétrie, published on Thursday, 893,000 listeners listened on average every day between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to the program presented by Laurent Ruquier and his boarders. By falling below 900,000 listeners, the program lost 31,000 followers compared to last year and 78,000 on a wave.
Radio audiences, morning stars: Julien Courbet in retreat, Estelle Denis…
Radio audiences: essential France Inter, RTL up slightly, France Bleu…
RFM: Caroline Ithurbide takes over the morning at the start of the school year with Albert Spano
If we analyze the results of this maxi-slice of two and a half hours in more detail, “Les grosses têtes” is progressing compared to last year during the first hour of the show. But from 4:30 p.m., the trend is reversed and the program, which a year ago still saw its audience stabilize above one million listeners between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., no longer crosses this symbolic threshold at any time. On this last wave of the 2021-2022 season, the peak audience is indeed reached between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. with 985,000 listeners.
“Popopop” at the end of the race, Cauet in the hard
On France Inter, “Poppop”whose stop was made official by the new management led by Adèle Van Reeth a few weeks ago, is obviously at the end of its course. 381,000 listeners reveled, every day on average, in the antics of Antoine de Caunes. The former presenter of the reception program “Le grand journal” on Canal + left some 12,000 listeners on the wayside compared to last year (-33,000 on a wave). Behind, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Charline Vanhoenacker, Alex Vizorek and Guillaume Meurice, the infernal trio that presides over the destinies of “By Jupiter!”, galvanized 751,000 listeners every day on average between April and June 2022, which represents a gain of 81,000 listeners over one year (-41,000 in one wave).
Another big character, Vincent Moscato, who leads “The Super Moscato Show”, brought together, on average between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., 382,000 outspoken followers. The issue thus progressed over one year (+10,000) like a wave (+34,000). In a more schoolboy style, “C Cauet”broadcast from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., was acclaimed in the last wave of this season by 373,000 fans of the “method” of the former host of TF1 and his band. With an after school peak of 557,000 listeners between 5 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. The entire section lost 43,000 listeners compared to last year at the same time (-21,000 in one wave).
Éric Jean-Jean stronger than M’Rik, Stéphane Bern and Matthieu Noël are diving again
The fight between Skyrock and RTL2 turns, unlike last year at this time, in favor of the station of the M6 group. “The Drive RTL2” by Eric Jean Jean and Caroline Chimot, broadcast daily between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., caught the attention of 250,000 pop rock music fans between April and June 2022 (+35,000 over one year, +41,000 over a wave). In front, the M’rik’s “16/20” did not make the weight on the airwaves of urban radio and misled 42,000 listeners over one year, to establish itself at 217,000 faithful.
Also note on the music station side: “The Fun Radio Studio”offered every day by the radio of the same name between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., entertained 178,000 dancefloor sound addicts (+3,000 over one year, +26,000 over a wave). On RFM, the “16/20” presented by Pat Angeli and Marie-Pierre Schembri is down. He attracted 135,000 pairs of ears on this wave (-25,000 over one year and -15,000 on one wave).
Very far behind, Europe 1 is still losing listeners. The latest wave of the Stéphane Bern-Matthieu Noël duo, at the head of “Historically Yours” daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., only interested 116,000 listeners. It is still 3,000 lost compared to the same period last year (-20,000 on a wave). Matthieu Noël will take over the management of France Inter at the start of the next school year.
